Act 60 Donation Information
The volunteers of Save A Gato are still actively working on the ongoing issue with the National Park Service regarding the removal of the cats within Paseo del Morro. The cats that reside in Paseo del Morro represent a portion of the cats we care for in Old San Juan. We are now trapping the cats that live in this area, getting them any medical attention they may need, and looking for loving homes for them to spend the rest of their lives safe and loved.
Save A Gato has United States Federal 501(c)3 non-profit designation as well as Puerto Rico 1101.01(a)(2) tax-exempt non-profit status.
Our volunteer work and mission is to sterilize, care for, protect and hopefully adopt out the cats within Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. We are a 100% all-volunteer group, so 100% of donations go to care for the cats of Old San Juan.
